The World Code: Roadmap

While the destination is the same, the path is always different

I wish I could tell you that building a business is a straight line. But the whole purpose of viewing your business through a world-building lens is so that you constantly see how each element needs tending to.

But to make it easier, I’ve broken things up into milestones.

$0 – $1

Here, you just need to do what is needed to know that you can get people to buy from you. It will hopefully be more than $1 so please don’t go around trying to sell things for $1.

You should be living in Stage One here. If you think it’s a problem with your market where everyone is hearing the same thing, then go to Stage Two and get more specific with who you are talking to.

$1 – $25,000/mo

Now that you see you can get people to buy from you, it’s time to understand how you’re going to play the formula. Anyone can get to $25,000 a month but they often don’t have the formula right.

For example, if you’re selling things for $10, then you know you need a lot of volume. Are you willing to do the things that get you that volume consistently?

In this case, it’s much easier to find ways to raise your prices. This means working to increase the impact of your One Climax and a better understanding of the One Character who wants it.

This also should be your introduction to Stage Three as you begin to move up.

Everything should be moving at a hectic pace here, which can easily lead to burnout, so you really want to ensure that your delivery and the ability of your customers, clients, and students to get results don’t depend on your being around.

If you haven’t added recurring revenue to your business then there are two paths you can go:

  1. Scale the audience with paid ads or slowly through organic
  2. Add recurring revenue to an offer
