Odd Noodle’s Content Strategy v1.0

Note: Odd Noodle and The World Code were released July 4, 2025, so depending on when you come across this strategy, there could be a lot of content on some platforms or very little content. But this is the strategy that I’ve used for my other brands so it is carrying over to here.

Creating the Content

I follow 3 paths to creating content.

The Code

I’ll work within my World Code and develop the content based on the other elements.

One Conversation: Develop It →

The Box-to-World Framework →

The Copy

I’ll see what content is working for other people and then bring the idea over to my world.

Even though I am calling this The Copy this is far from copying their content.

For example, if I see someone create a video called “How I Make $10,000 a month” (generic, I know), then I’ll take that idea and see how I would do it within my world.

The Concept

Because I actively live in my world and follow my curiosities, I might find concepts outside of my world that would fit in nicely.

For example, one day I came across a piece of content talking about blacksmiths which made me think about how blacksmiths are kind of like modern day Creators.

Then I thought about what other roles Creators have and I came up with the concept of Blacksmiths, Jesters, and Monks.

Sometimes my content is very strategic. I’ll look for SEO opportunities for the site or YouTube. Other times, I just want to think through a concept and share it with the world. And even though this kind of content might not get the views, it often has a bigger impact on the people it does reach because it is unique to my world.

What Brings People to My World

For your One Conversation to be effective, it has to reach people. The struggle that many find is that they either hate creating content because they don’t know who they are creating it for or it’s not doing its job because they don’t know why their world exists.

While you do want your One Conversation to reach people, first, you must get it to have an impact. I’ve seen too many “successful” creatives build followings that amount to nothing.

If your Conversation is not having an impact on your Character, then it doesn’t matter how many people it reaches.

I know my Conversation has an impact, so what do I do to get it out there?

The Code

For content that comes from my World Code, it’s important that I wrap it in a container that is meant to work on the platform for that is for. For example, if it’s going to go on YouTube, then I need to understand what potential titles and thumbnails will work.

If I simply make up a random title that makes me chuckle then there is a chance it won’t get views. And while I’m not chasing views just for views, I’m also not trying to get the content ignored.

It can only have an impact if it reaches people.

The Copy

This content already comes with the packaging. I might tweak it so if we stick with the How I Make $10,000 a Month example, I’ll say How I Make $10,000 a Month Building Worlds or The Best Way for Misfits to Make $10k a Month.

But the goal of this method for content creation isn’t to break what was working.

The Concept

This type of content usually stays written and goes up on the site, in an email, or on Threads. The reason why is because I don’t want to spend time trying to mold it to fit a platform so it gets some numbers.

This is my selfish content that I simply want to share with the world. If you see it, then you see it. If you don’t, then you’ll be sad.

But this content is important for me because it continues to push me and help me unlock new concepts that I can later use in content that is meant to be seen by larger numbers.

The Posting Schedule

I’ve never been one for posting schedules. I don’t know if it’s just my rebellious nature or what, but when I think of schedules it makes me want to push back.

It’s not that I don’t think schedules are a good thing, they very much are, but with online content, there doesn’t need to be a schedule. Some people like to believe that your YouTube subscribers will wait around on a specific day for a piece of content and maybe that’s true for some people, but why force an idea that isn’t ready?

I also understand that my content can fluctuate based on my energy levels. When I’m feeling good then I try to create as much content as I can, and then I’ll save it up for those times when I don’t feel like creating.

With that being said, there is value in consistency.

I like to email at least once a week. I like to post a YouTube video at least once a week. I like to post a Thread once a day. I like to write an essay every couple of weeks.

This kind of cadence becomes easier once you have a library of content built up. For any new world that I’m building, I prefer to get a lot of blog posts done and then try my best to create as much content as possible in the first 30 – 90 days.

It’s hard to build World Time if there is no world to explore.

The Ferry Strategy

Some people refer to this as the Content Flywheel, but since we’re building a world, I like the visual of a ferry transporting people from one place to another.

Anything that I post on the main YouTube Channel gets shared with my mailing list. I’ll also try my best to insert the video into content on the site.

I’ve always liked the idea of getting lost in a world and randomly exploring its different parts. The problem is that most people don’t have things set up to allow you to do that.

I want to get lost. I want the time to disappear because I couldn’t stop consuming your content.

So my goal is that when you consume a piece of content that there is at least one Ferry ready to take you somewhere else to consume more. Of course, I want to make sure my One Crossing is there as well, but if I can make sure there is a Ferry waiting, then that gives you an opportunity to spend more time in my world.

And that’s never a bad thing.

Let's Sprint

Having your World Code setup makes world-building a lot easier. While you have all of the tools here to work on it yourself, if you want some guidance then consider doing a sprint with me.

For 60 business days (you can work on the weekends, but let's not make it mandatory), we will build out your World Code and World System together.

After 30 days, you'll have everything in place to bring in people and sell your offer(s). After 60 days, you'll be taking days off from your business because everything is humming along.

This is an intensive 60 days so if you're the type who wants to take their time, then The World Studio will be a better fit.

However, if you are the type who loves a good sprint, then you'll also get access to The World Studio to continue moving forward with your world.
